* Why are we asking these questions?

Open Books aspires to promote literacy as energetically and thoroughly as possible, and that means we'd like to work with volunteers, donors, and supporters of every ethnicity, age, gender, side of town, interest, you name it! Our literacy students need a range of role models, and variety makes for more fun -- and a much more effective, inspiring literacy organization. You may choose to leave these questions blank, but if you do answer, it will help us assess how we're doing and which Chicagoans we need to try harder to reach. We will not share or sell your individual info with anyone. Thanks for volunteering and for helping us evaluate our outreach efforts.
