Meatheads’ Children’s Author Summer Reading Series: Kate Hannigan

Open Books is excited to announce five incredible author events across Chicagoland this summer, in partnership with Meatheads Burgers, who provides thoughtful food by caring people. Throughout June and July, children’s authors Kate Hannigan, Matthew Baker, Elise Parsely, and Liz Climo will join Open Books at various Meatheads locations for storytimes and activities.
The author series is part of Meatheads’ 2015 Voracious Reading Program, which runs until late August at all 16 Meatheads locations in Chicagoland and Indiana. If students must read 5 books as part of Voracious Reading, they earn a reward of one little Meatheads burger. Students can print out a certificate at www.meatheadsburgers.com. A parent or guardian signature is required for each award. The program is active at all Chicagoland Meatheads locations.
