Volunteer Enrichment: Writer’s Block Workshop

Whether you’re looking for strategies to help support students, or if you struggle with your own writing process, come join us for a special workshop on how to overcome writer’s block.

This workshop is a special collaboration between the Graham School Writer’s Studio and Open Books, presented by Cecilia Pinto and designed with Open Books volunteers in mind.

Cecilia Pinto has had her writing published in a variety of journals, including Quarter After Eight, Fence, The Seneca Review, Triquarterly, and RHINO. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for poetry and won the Esquire short fiction contest. In 2016 she was voted a Writer to Watch by the Guild Literary Complex. She teaches for the Graham School Writer’s Studio and is faculty member of the writing conservatory at the Chicago High School for the Arts.
