The Black Literature Collective, which is the official book club of ROYAL Media, will has a panel discussion of Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye on Thursday, October 26 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Black Literature Collective meets on the last Thursday of the month at Open Books West Loop.

Join, ChiWriMo, the Chicago chapter of NaNoWriMo, for the Kick Off Party to National Novel Writing Month ( aka NaNoWriMo) at Open Books West Loop from 2:00-5:00 pm. We will also have Weekly Write-Ins every Sunday with ChiWriMo as you write your way to that monthly goal of 50,000 words for NaNoWroMo.
